Motorola Edge 20 Launched. But should you consider it?

Motorola had a launch event on 17th August to launch its much-awaited smartphone Motorola Edge 20.

The chipset used in this device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G AI SoC 5G integrated. Qualcomm® Adreno™ 642L GPU offers up to 40% faster graphics rendering.

Motorola Edge 20 Display

Motorola Edge 20 is accompanied by a 6.7-inch OLED display that has a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour, DCI-P3 colour space coverage, and HDR10+ certification.

Motorola Edge 20 Camera

The device comes with triple rear camera support that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide and macro lens, and an 8-megapixel sensor with a 3x high-res optical zoom and 30X Super Zoom telephoto lens. Upfront it has a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies.

Motorola Edge 20 Storage and Ram

The internal storage configuration of the smartphone is 128GB which is non-expandable storage with 8GB of Ram for smoothness. Motorola Edge 20 also has other storage configurations that vary with the RAM.

Motorola Edge 20 Battery and Charging

The smartphone comes with a long-lasting battery of 4,000mAh with a 30w Turbopower charger. The company claims to charge the device for nearly 100-110 minutes.

Motorola Edge 20 Software Support

Motorola Edge 20 runs on Near-stock Android 11. Motorola has a claim to give two years of security updates and assured upgrade to 12 and 13.

Motorola Edge 20 Other Features

Connectivity options on the Motorola Edge 20 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G. For security, it uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Motorola Edge 20 has two colours options. Frosted Grey and Frosted White to look indifferent.
