There have been lots of information leaked regarding the new upcoming Redmi K40 Series. The reports also come from the TENAA certification page and the specs are a little different than rumored.
The Redmi K40 and the K40 Pro smartphone bring entirely new specs and the designs have also been showcased and look stunning and beautiful than what we have seen in the CAD renders.
Previously the rumors suggested that the K40 series would come with 6.8 inches of Display but the reports clarify it all. The K40 series would be coming with 6.67 inches of AMOLED Display. Featuring of AMOLED Display will be followed just like its predecessor. It will have a Flat AMOLED Display with a hole punch on the screen. For security, the K40 Series will have the under-display Optical Fingerprint Sensor, and this time the front has slightly been changed for cost-cutting and will no longer have the pop selfie camera.
The leaks have also suggested the battery would be 4420 mAh of capacity. Inside it would have MIUI 12 on top of Android 11.
The Redmi K40 series will have a triple AI camera setup and would be placed vertically. The. Specifications of the camera modules have not been revealed yet, but the information will come out sooner or later. We will update later on when we have the camera specifications of the Redmi K40 Series.
We already know about the processor that will fuel the Redmi K40 Series. The K40 Pro will have the flagship processor, the Snapdragon 888, and the non-Pro model of Redmi K40 will have a refined version of Snapdragon 865+ which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. Both the phones will be shipping with Snapdragon 8 series. There is a slight change from the predecessor which is this time the company will not use a high-end midrange chipset for the non-Pro Model.
There is no clear information for storage options regarding the Redmi K40 series, but the guess is, this series of Redmi K40 would start with 6GB 128GB Storage options. We will update this information later.
