Last year Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 was launched after so much waiting for this Smartphone.
Fans of Xiaomi Smartphones were waiting for this Smartphone for almost around 2years, and the Mi Mix series was launched last in October 2018 with Xiaomi Mi Mix 3.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix series is meant to be innovative and futuristic. Xiaomi also launched Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha with an all-screen design concept smartphone which went on sale for selected regions and was limited in quantity.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha was too innovative and futuristic with its incredible design and concepts. But making it was tough, and the price of components was high.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha was Xiaomi’s most innovative and futuristic Smartphone with all-screen design concepts. Xiaomi amazed the world with its Mi Mix Alpha smartphone.
And now it’s the year 2022, and Xiaomi is preparing for its upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 5 series.
However, This Mi Mix Series will be known as the Xiaomi Mix series because Xiaomi removed Mi from their naming scheme, and instead of Mi, it will be Xiaomi in the name of smartphones.
What we know about the Xiaomi Mix 5 Series
We have heard the rumors of the Xiaomi Mix 5 series that will come with maxed-out specs and maybe an innovative design.
The codename Loki and Thor has already been revealed by the Xaomiui, another tipster.
Today on 7th February of 2022, a tipster shared information about the Xiaomi Mix 5 and not the Pro variant. Here is a peek at the tweet by Shadow_Leak.
Xiaomi Mix 5 Display
According to the tipster, Xiaomi Mix 5 will have a Full HD 1080p Optoelectronic Screen by Huaxing, and it should be an AMOLED display. In our assumption, the display size would 6.73inch.
Xiaomi Mix 5 Processor
The tipster did not mention the processor that would ship with the Xiaomi Mix 5. But we can assume it would come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with TSMC’s fabrication.
Xiaomi Mix 5 Camera
Xiaomi Mix 5 will have a flagship maxed-out camera specifications, according to the tipster. It will pack a Sony IMX800 50MP (OIS) Primary Camera module, followed by a 48MP Ultrawide Camera module and a 48MP (OIS) Telephoto camera module.
On the front, it comes with an under-display 50MP selfie camera module. The Mix 5 with Under display camera tech is Xiaomi’s Next Generation UDC Phone, as reported by the tipster.

In our assumption, Xiaomi Mix 5 could have 8GB, 12GB, and maybe 16GB RAM options. It may come with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB Storage options.

In our assumption, Xiaomi Mix 5 could indeed feature Dual Stereo Speakers, No 3.5mm Headphone jack, 5G, WiFi6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
Xiaomi Mix 5 would feature a self-developed Surge C2 Chip by Xiaomi, according to the tipster.

When looking at the Twitter spec-sheet report by Shadow Leak, the tipster mentioned Xiaomi Mix 5 would have 4600mAh of battery Capacity and 120W Fast charging support.
Xiaomi Mix 5 Software support
Under the hood, Xiaomi Mix 5 may come with MIUI 13 on top of Android 12, in our assumption. MIUI is custom Android skin made by Xiaomi to increase features and security on their devices.
Xiaomi Mix 5 Price and availability
As for the current time, We don’t have any information about the pricing of the Xiaomi Mix 5 or even the Xiaomi Mix 5 Pro. But when it’s launched, it would indeed be costly.
