If you are still not getting the Split Screen option, then follow below.

Split Screen option not showing MIUI 12: Split screen option not showing Redmi – Realme, Oppo, Vivo, Poco.

If you don’t get the Split Screen option in the Recent Apps Window of Apps, it might be due to Custom UI.

Realme, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, and Poco use their own custom UI Android Skin. Custom Android UI skin is a layer of UI ( User Interface ) on top of Android’s original UI.

This is why the User Interface on each phone looks different because they use their Custom Skin UI.

For Realme it’s Realme UI, For Vivo, it’s Funtouch UI, For Oppo, it’s Color UI, For Xiaomi it’s MIUI.

These Custom Android UI Skins make the System heavy, but it is helpful to add new and unique features even before Google bakes that feature in Android OS by default.

Some Smartphone vendors lock default Features of Android OS using Custom UI. You can’t use Split Screen because the feature is locked by Custom Android UI.

Split Screen Feature was already available in Android 7, but it got popular after Android 9, and in that Free Form windows, Feature was also getting attention.

So there is no way you can enable the default Feature of Android OS until and unless the Vendor unlocks it.
