Realme 8s launched. The specs are bang for the buck

Realme 8s 5G, was launched on 9th September. This phone provides a good specification experience.

The chipset used in the device is MediaTek Dimensity 810, based on 6nm technology which also supports Dual 5G. Realme became the first smartphone brand to provide this processor.

This device is accompanied, by a 6.5inch display (1080 x 2400 pixels), 600 nits brightness and supports a 90Hz fast refreshing rate. Although, there is no information on Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Realme 8s 5G is powered, with a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.1 aperture.

The internal storage configuration of the smartphone is 128GB which is expandable storage up to 1TB with 6GB of Ram and expandable memory of 5GB. Realme 8s 5G also has other storage configurations that vary with the RAM.

Realme 8s 5G comes with a long-lasting battery of 5,000mAh with 33w fast charging. The company claims to charge the device nearly in 60 minutes.

Realme 8s 5G Software Support

This phone runs on Android 11 with the custom skin UI of Realme 2.0. Realme Ui is based on Color OS.

Realme 8s is available in two different colours. Realme name them Universe Blue and Universe Purple colours which kind of looks good.

Connectivity options on the Realme 8s 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). For securities, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
