Motorola launched its Motorola Edge 30 smartphone in India. It is the first smartphone in India to come with Snapdragon 778G Plus.

Motorola Edge 30 comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ pOLED (Plastic Organic Light Emitting Diode) Display with 144Hz Refresh Rate and 360Hz Touch Sampling Rate.
Motorola Edge 30 AMOLED Display supports 10Bit Color Depth, HDR10+, 500Nits (typical) brightness, and DCI-P3 color gamut.
Motorola Edge 30 Processor
Motorola Edge 30 sports Midrange Snapdragon 778G Plus Processor. The Snapdragon 778G Plus has been fabricated on the 6NM process node.
For Graphic intensive workload, Snapdragon 778G features Adreno 642L GPU.
Motorola Edge 30 Camera
Motorola Edge 30 packs a triple rear camera setup. It features a 50MP Primary Camera followed by a 50MP Ultrawide + Macro Camera and a 2MP Depth Camera.
Motorola Edge 30 features a 32MP camera for shooting selfies on the front of the display.
Motorola Edge 30 RAM and Storage
Motorola Edge 30 comes with LPDDR5 type RAM and uMCP5 (UFS-based multi-chip package) type storage. It comes in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB Storage options.
The uMCP is a new technology that combines the LPDDR5 RAM DRAM chip with UFS 3.1 NAND chip to increase bandwidth and decrease latency for transfer speed and Memory Speed.
Hence, uMCP storage technology benefits performance, efficiency, and lower cost. The uMCP chips come with 25 GB/s memory transfers and 3 GB/s storage transfer speeds (LPDDR5 + UFS 3.1)

Motorola Edge 30 features Dual Stereo Speakers with Dolby Atmos Support, NFC, WiFi6E, BT5.2, GPS, IP52 Water Resistant, and No 3.5mm headphone jack.
Motorola Edge 30 features an under-display Fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking the device and keeping the device secure. It features ThinkShield protection for an additional security layer in OS.
