IQOO 7 series specifications overview

Vivo's sub-brand IQOO has launched the IQOO 7 and IQOO 7 Legend. Both are flagship smartphones, but one is with the last-gen flagship processor with overclocked version. Both are feature-packed machines.

The IQOO 7 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 Processor, Whereas the IQOO 7 Legend comes with the latest flagship processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. Both are similar in terms of designs, display, features but differ in areas, such as the smartphone chipset, battery, and gaming features.

IQOO 7 and IQOO 7 Legend Specs.

Display: 6.62inch AMOLED Display, 120hz refresh rate, 300hz touch sampling rate, 1300nits of brightness, HDR10 support, Display intelligent chip, MEMC support.

Chipset (SoC): Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 for IQOO 7 Legend and Qualcomm 870 for IQOO 7 standard variant.

Camera: 64MP Sony IMX598 Primary Camera, 13MP Ultrawide, and 13MP Telephoto camera for the IQOO 7 Legend. The standard IQOO 7 comes with the same specs as Legend except for a 2MP macro camera instead of a Telephoto camera. On the front, both come with a 16MP camera.

RAM & Storage: LPDDR5 RAM for the IQOO 7 Legend and LPDDR4X RAM for the standard IQOO 7. Both have V6 UFS 3.1 Type storage.

Security and Features: In-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and Hi-Res Dual Loudspeaker. There no 3.5mm headphone jack. In-display touch gestures buttons instead of physical shoulder buttons for gaming control.

Battery and Charging: The IQOO 7 Legend comes with 4000mAh of battery capacity, while the IQOO 7 standard version comes with 4400mAh of battery capacity. The standard variant has more juice than the higher-top model.

Software: For the software, the IQOO 7 series comes with Vivo's Origin OS on top of Android 11.

All the specs above are solid. Also, there is a Monster Touch feature that enables the user to use this feature as a virtual joystick while gaming. Both the IQOO 7 and Legend use large graphite layered vapor chamber cooling system to keep the device cool while gaming.

Conclusion

Vivo IQOO has partnered with a BMW motorsport company and came up with a BMW design for their top model, the IQOO 7 Legend. It has a BMW strip design on the rear side which gives it a gamer feel.
