Google Pixel 6 Pro launched. Is it the new Flagship killer?

Google launched its Pixel 6 and 6 Pro with their custom skin called “Tensor”

Google Pixel 6 Pro Processor

The chipset used in the device is Google Tensor based on a 5nm process, with a CPU that has; a tri-cluster architecture, with two big ARM Cortex-X1 cores running at up to 2.8 GHz. There are not many details given by Google related to their new flagship SoC.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Display

The device is accompanied: by a 6.71-inch Quad-HD+ LTPO AMOLED (1,440×3,160 pixels) display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display also carries a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ including, a pixel density of 512 pixels per inch (PPI). There is a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Camera

Pixel 6 Pro carries a triple house camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel of primary sensor with f/1.9 and pixel size of 1.2 microns, also 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor f/2.2 with a pixel size of 1.25 microns, and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens f/3.5 and pixel size of 0.8 microns. There is an 11-megapixel f/2.2 micron of 1.25 for quality selfies.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Storage and Ram

The internal storage configuration of the smartphone is 128GB UFS 3.1 which, is non-expandable storage with 12GB of Ram. Google Pixel 6 Pro also has other storage configurations that vary with the RAM. There is unlimited storage for photos and videos.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Battery and Charging

The body of Pixel 6 Pro comes with a large battery capacity of 5,003mAh with a 30w fast charger. The company claims to charge 50 percent in 30 minutes. Other features like Wireless Charging 23w and reverse charging are also included.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Software Support

Google Pixel 6 runs on Stock (Pure) Android 12 and, google is excellent in providing daily updates. Google has promised to give 5 years of updates in the Pixel 6 series.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Colour options

Pixel 6 Pro has three different types of style options. Cloudy White, Sorta Sunny, Stormy Black with a new pixel look of the aluminum frame.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Other features

Connectivity options on the Google Pixel 6 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G,5G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). There is an in-display fingerprint scanner for security and an IP68 rating for water and dust protection.

As far as price is concerned, Pixel 6 Pro starts at $899 (Roughly Rs. 68,000) for 12/128GB.
