Asus Rog 5s and 5s Pro Introduction
Asus Rog 5s series launched in India on the 15th of February 2022. These both smartphones are the Asus Flagship smartphone with last year’s configuration.
It was officially launched on August 16th, 2021. But Asus couldn’t make it to India, maybe because of chip shortages, or it could be a completely different reason. Well, we don’t know the fact.
Asus Rog 5s and 5s Pro Display
Asus Rog 5s series comes with a 6.7inch FHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED Display with 144Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The Asus Rog 5s series also supports HDR.
For the protection of the display, it comes with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to protect the screen from breaking easily.
Asus Rog 5s and 5s Pro Processor
Asus Rog 5s and 5s Pro sports a powerful Snapdragon 888+ from Qualcomm that is last year’s flagship processor.
For gaming and video content consumption, Snapdragon 888+ features Adreno 660 GPU.
Asus Rog 5s and 5s Pro Camera
The Asus Rog 5s series features a triple rear camera setup. It comes with a 64MP IMX686 Primary Camera by Sony. Its followed by 13MP Ultrawide Camera and a 5MP Macro Camera.
On the front, it comes with a 24MP camera for shooting selfies.
Asus Rog 5s and 5s Pro RAM and Storage
Asus Rog 5s series comes with an LPDDR5 type RAM and UFS 3.1 type Storage. It comes in 8GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+128GB and 16GB+512GB storage options for standard Asus Rog 5s model.
As for the Pro model of Asu Rog 5s, it’s available with one storage option. It’s available in an 18GB+512GB storage model.
Asus Rog 5s and 5s Pro Security and Other Features
Asus Rog 5s series comes with Dual Front Stereo Speakers, GPS, Wi-Fi6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, dedicated gaming control button, and fancy RGB lightning on the rear side.
For security, it comes with an under-display Optical Fingerprint sensor.
Asus Rog 5s and 5s Pro Battery and Charging
Asus Rog 5s series packs a 6000mAh battery capacity and supports 65W fast charging. It also supports 10W reverse charging.
Asus Rog 5s and 5s Pro Software support
Under the hood, the Asus Rog 5s series comes with Asus Rog UI on top of Android 11. Rog UI is a simple custom Android skin like Motorola MyUI made by Asus to add some features and keep the UI stock-like Google’s Android.
