Asus 8Z Introduction
Asus launched its Zenofone 8z or Asus 8z in India today on the 28th of February 2022. It was released last year but didn’t make it to India to chip shortage.
But Asus has now finally launched the Zenfone 8z in India in 2022. Users can make the purchase of this smartphone from 7th March on Flipkart.
Asus 8Z Display
Asus 8Z comes with a compact 5.9inch FHD+ punch hole AMOLED Display with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+.
Asus 8Z is known for the compact size form factor. It is the first compact smartphone with a Flagship processor of 2021.
For the protection of the display, it features a strong Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Asus 8Z Processor
The compact Asus 8Z sports last year’s flagship Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888. It is based on the 5NM of the Fabrication Process.
For Gaming and content consumption Snapdragon 888 features Adreno 660.
Asus 8Z camera
Asus 8z features a dual rear camera setup. It comes with a 64MP IMX686 (OIS) Primary Camera by Sony and a 12MP Ultrawide Camera.
On the front, it features a 12MP IMX663 (EIS) camera by sony for shooting selfies.
Asus 8z RAM and Storage
Asus 8z comes with LPDDR5 type RAM and UFS 3.1 type Storage. It comes in 8GB and 128GB storage options in India.
However there are 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 16GB and 256GB storage options available.
Asus 8Z Security and Other Features
For the security of the Asus 8Z, it features an Under Display fingerprint sensor.
Its other features are IP68 Water Resistant, 3.5mm headphone jack, Dual Stereo Speakers, GPS, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
It supports 11 5G bands for 5G connectivity.

Asus 8Z packs a 4000mAh battery capacity and supports 30W fast charging.
Asus 8Z Operating system
Under the hood, Asus 8z comes with ZenUI on top of Android 11. ZenUI is a Custom skin Android UI to add additional features to the phone.
It is close to stock Android like Motorola’s MyUI.

Asus 8Z price in India is ₹42,999 for 8GB + 128GB storage option.
